How can I offset and compliment my outdated eggshell cabinets in the kitchen?

I'm in a rental, and I am allowed to paint the walls and trim. The walls, trim, counters, and cabinets are all eggshell. What colors can I use on the walls and trim to offset and compliment the eggshell cabinets and counters? The appliances are updated and are white.
