How do i improve my singing voice?

In order to improve your voice and pitch you must continue singing. I am a high tenor and at first I had trouble hitting high notes. Subsequently I reached them at ease, now I sing in choir and people say I sound like Michael Jackson. So just keep singing avoid yelling and hear your vocal chords expand.
