What songs are good to practice singing to?

I want to do awesome at a singing audition but i want to improve my singing voice. my vocal range is mezzo- soprano, i can't sing high notes, im comfortable on middle notes(middle C to C). i like to sing pop, rock, jazz, classic rock any music from 50's to 2000's.
