A few questions for former Jehovah's Witnesses?

I only have one question for them... if, according to your beliefs, only a finite number of people are going to heaven (144,000)... why do you have such aggressive marketing practices? If I knew space was limited, I certainly would not be knocking on doors trying to recruit people.... *shrugs*
