Should I sing the slow version of Poker Face or I Dreamed a Dream for Rent auditions?

I'm auditiong for Rent in a few days and can't decide whether I should sing Poker Face or I Dreamed a Dream. I am a mezzo and am leaning toward the part of Maureen. Also I was thinking of singing Take Me or Leave Me from Rent but my voice coach said otherwise since it is a belt song and bad technique could easily be used when nerves kick in. Thoughts about all this and if you recomend singing a song from the musical while auditioning, and if i should audition the first or second day! All tips are appreciated! Thanks so much!!! :)
